Who we are

The Biomolecular Research and Advanced Computing Center (BioRacc) is a research facility dedicated to addressing complex challenges in the life sciences through computational science and high-performance computing (HPC). We integrate advanced computational methods with biological research to explore molecular interactions critical to human health—accelerating discovery around biological targets, therapeutic agents, disease mechanisms, and new treatment strategies.

Mission

BioRacc at Texas Southern University advances computational and bioinformatics research. We use high-performance computing and AI-driven methods to support innovative drug discovery, molecular dynamics simulations, and genomic data analysis—empowering researchers and students with cutting-edge resources, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discoveries that improve human health.

Welcome to the Biomolecular Research and Advanced Computing Center (BioRacc).

At BioRacc, we are driven by a mission to advance scientific discoveries that address infectious diseases affecting communities around the world. By integrating computational approaches, molecular science, and collaborative experimentation, we work to uncover new therapeutic possibilities for some of the most pressing health challenges of our time.
