Accessibility Statement
BioRacc is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Our commitment
The Biomolecular Research and Advanced Computing Center (BioRacc) aims to provide a website that meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where practicable. We design pages with clear structure, readable typography, keyboard-friendly navigation, and respect for prefers-reduced-motion settings.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we add content and features, we work to improve conformance and fix barriers we identify.
Measures we take
We use semantic HTML headings and landmarks, maintain color contrast appropriate to our design system, provide text alternatives for meaningful images where applicable, and avoid relying on color alone to convey critical information.
Site search and primary navigation are intended to be operable with a keyboard. Feedback from users helps us prioritize fixes.
Known limitations
Some older documents, third-party embeds, or externally hosted materials (for example, publisher PDFs or linked university pages) may not fully meet our accessibility targets. We will work toward alternatives or improvements when we control the content.
Requesting accommodations or reporting barriers
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us at kehinde.idowu@tsu.edu or 713-313-5641.
