Biography
Scott Widmann, Ph.D. is a research scientist in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Texas Southern University.
With a strong background in cancer biology, drug discovery, and computational biology, Dr. Widmann incorporates artificial intelligence and machine learning into the discovery process. His research investigates novel therapeutics for cancer and infectious diseases. He also mentors students in computational biology and drug discovery and champions interdisciplinary collaboration.
